Average User Age for the Playstation Network Are you feeling ostracized about a gamer at the age of 20, or around there? If so, you’ve got nothing to worry about, the gaming age is on the rise and a new study shows that Sony’s Playstation Networks average gamer age is 28 years old. That’s right, you’re probably even younger than this number, so what do you have to be embarrassed about? Keep playing those games!
In fact, the study also shown–or implied rather, that most of these men are even family men, married and possibly with children. This conclusion was made when studying what was purchased and rented over the service, such as video games that would not appeal to that of a 28-year old demographic.
“What we’re finding ever since we’ve introduced services like the video download service, we’re getting more of the household on the PlayStation Network,” said Eric Lempel, director of PSN operations at SCEA.
