Epic Addressing Sudden Gears Of War PC Issue Expiration of Windows certificate means you can't launch Gears of War.

Not all that many fans get their Gears of War fix via the PC. But those who do have probably run into a new and unique problem.
According to Eurogamer, the expiration of the Windows digital certification for the game has rendered it unplayable. If you try to load of Gears of War after January 29 (read: today), you will get the message, "You cannot run the game with modified executable code. Please reinstall the game."
"Yes, this was a surprise to us too. We aren't casting blame or chewing anyone out. We're trying to figure out how and why it happened so we can get it fixed," said an Epic Games programmer on the Gears of War PC forum.
