Tip of the Spear
Total Collectibles = 13
Welcome to Delta

During the opening Cinematic you'll be introduced to the rookie, Carmine. Afterwards you'll be given the choice of training him or simply jumping into the battle. For the sake of collectibles, opt to take Carmine through training. Follow the onscreen prompts to learn how to view current objectives. Begin to make your way up the alley and you'll learn how to take cover. You should see an office desk flipped up on its side in the middle of the alley. Just past this desk you'll find The Eagle Newspaper collectible on the ground.

Let Jack open the fence and take cover behind the parked truck. Dom will challenge you to shoot 5 bottles. After hitting one, he'll tell you to use the pistol. Follow the onscreen directions to learn how to fire, aim, and switch weapons. After hitting the bottles, Carmine will push a dumpster out of the way. Make your way around the dumpsters and the vehicles. A Point of Interest will appear as you approach and small barrier. Press and hold the Point of Interest button and the camera will turn and focus on a Wretch in a window. After an exchange in dialogue, climb over the barrier and then kick open the gate up ahead.

Pick up the Grenades in the middle of the courts to the right and then take cover behind the small barrier. Toss a grenade up into the parking garage window to take out the Wretch. Carmine gets a little grenade-happy and he and Dom end up injured. Heal them and then move into the garage to the left.

Use the chainsaw on your Lancer to cut through the wood and make your way up the ramp. Watch the vehicles pass by and continue through the parking garage to the opposite end. Use the ladder to drop back down to ground level. Instead of instantly taking the road to the hospital on the left, head to the right and into the small garage in the back. On the ground in front of a table you will find the Ambulance Driver's Log. Now make your way back towards the hospital.
Desperation

You'll now find yourself inside the hospital. After some dialogue, make your way through the automatic doors to the right and you'll be introduced to Tai. Follow Tai up the stairs and into the room with the sick patients. Tai will lead you into a hallway that overlooks a courtyard. Take cover along the window and wait for the small Locust group to enter and walk by the blue gas tanks in the middle. When the are all near the tanks, pop up and unload into the tanks to make them blow up and take down the Locust soldiers with them.

Make your way around the corridor overlooking the courtyard to the left. You'll find an open door that leads you into a small room with a patient on the table. In the corner of this room you'll find the Doctor's Journal. Continue around the corridor and Tai will lead you to another door at the far end. You'll come to another balcony. Take some cover and shoot at the fleeing Locusts.

Follow the balcony around the left and take out the Locusts at the opposite end. Once it's clear, make your way through the door and head down this hallway as Dom and Tai go downstairs. Take some cover and duck along the windows of this hallway. A pair of Locusts will charge in but a friendly chopper will blast them away for you, just be sure to be ducking. Continue down and around the hallway into the next room. Flip the operating table over for cover and kill the two Locusts in here. Grab the Grenades from the small room on the left and then head through the door on the right.

Go down the stairs and take cover at the doorway at the bottom. There's some Locusts hiding behind the desks in the middle of the larger room. Toss a grenade in the middle of the desk to take them out. Once the room is clear, make your way into the middle of the main desks and pick up the Jacinto Medical Center File collectible.

Pick up some ammo and head through another connecting hallway and out another door into an open courtyard. Quickly grab some cover and help your squad take out the Locusts in the middle. When it seems quiet, head down into the yard only to trigger a brief attack by a Reaver. It’ll land for you to unload into it but will more than likely take right off again.

Head up the stairs on the other side of the courtyard and pick up the ammo in the right corner. Pass through the next room and follow the corridor around to the right. You'll encounter more Locusts inside an operating room. Take them out and then head through the door on the right. You'll come to a fork in the hallway, go around to the left and you'll find a small room with one of its doors lying on the ground. Enter the tiny room on the left to collect the COG Letterhead from the ground.

Instead of taking the right with your teammates, go straight into the blue/grey room. Take cover at the door at the far end and shoot the Locust from the side as they target your teammates. Clear the cafeteria and make your way into the next area which is a tall open room. As you enter a chopper will crash through the overhead window and then some Locusts will charge in. Defeat the enemy soldiers and head up stairs and into the corridor in the middle. Go through the automatic doors at the end to enter another multi leveled room. Before you head down the stairs, break around to the right and pick up the ammo and COG Proclamation from the end of the balcony.

Now head down to the main floor and take some cover in the middle of the giant center front desk. Jack will go to work on the front door and you'll be attacked from the left. Toss grenades behind the Locusts to draw them out if you're having a hard time. Once these are dead, you'll be attacked by several more from the right. Return fire and kill them all. Jack will have opened the door by now. Head down the center corridor to find Carmine waiting for you. Regroup and then you'll charge outside. Just outside the doorway, turn right and pick up the COG Tag CSID:085177Mj3V5-PB from behind the pillar.

Grab some ammo and then make your way around to the stairs to the far left. Take out any Locust at the bottom of the stairs then rush down to the street and take some cover behind a car. Soon, a Raven chopper will swoop in and help clear the street. Make your way forward and then into the store on the left. Use the doorway at the far end of the store to take out the Locusts in the street. Once the immediate Locust are cleared, fight your way down the street until another chopper arrives and gives you some support.
Rolling Thunder

You'll now find yourself onboard a Assault Derrick. Quickly grab the Grindlift Notice off the back wall of the platform. After a bit of dialogue, a small scene will ensue. The scene will come to a close and you'll need to run up the ramp of the Derrick and man the Turret Gun on top. Use the gun to shoot down mortars before they hit your vehicle. This can be somewhat difficult. If you're having trouble, try going into the options menu and increasing the sensitivity. Shoot down all the mortars only to then be attacked by some Reavers. All you need to worry about is the one Reaver on the left of the rig. Aim left and unload into the flying creature until it goes down.

After surviving the mortars and the Reaver attack, you'll come to a stop and will need to protect Dizzy while he repairs Betty (the rig). Sprint around the rig to the left to pick up some ammo and the Munitions Requisition Form from the ground. Now, quickly grab some cover and begin to take out the Locusts pouring out of the emergence hole. If you have a clear view of it, plug it up with a grenade, if not, just worry about returning fire. Another Assault Derrick will pull up and lend you a hand. Hold off the Locust until Dizzy calls you back to Betty. Roadie Run back to the rig's ladder to get back on board.
The Big Push

After the cutscene, quickly make your way back up to the mounted turret gun. Fire attack the hordes of Locusts pouring out of the holes and then at the Brumak. Honestly, you really won't have much effect on anything in this battle. Still, keep the turret gun aimed to the right and eventually you'll be chased down by another Assault Derrick that's being controlled by Locusts. Keep them from using the turret on this vehicle and simply just keep mowing them down. After a bit of a dogfight, the enemy derrick will begin to ram the side of yours. As soon as the front windows smash open, shoot inside the cockpit to kill the driver before the reach the single lane bridge up ahead.

Another scene will be trigger upon crossing the bridge. When you are back in control, hop back on the turret gun. Concentrate fire on the Brumaks that appear. Eventually a Corpser will pop up in front of you. Shoot the creature in the face until it disappears. Not long after this another Brumak will appear in front of you in the distance. Shoot the weapons on its wrists and then unload into its face until if goes down an you complete this section.
Roadblocks

Head to the left side of the street and kick open the set of white doors. Jump over the counter and pick up the ammo and then head up the stairs to grab some more ammo, grenades, and the Jacinto Sentinel Newspaper . Head back down the stairs and over the counter again. Make your way down the hallway to trigger a brief introduction of the Tickers. This nasty little guys rush at you and explode. Luckily, hitting them with a bullet or two makes them explode as well. Take some cover by the doorway and pick off the little creatures before they can get too close.

Eventually a pair of Tickers will blow a hole in the wooden fence on the opposite side of the street from you. Proceed through this gap back behind the building and around to the left. Use your chainsaw to cut through the boards and then take out more Tickers that appear in the street. Once you've defeated all the remaining explosives with legs, make your way down the street and into the tiny cemetery to the right. Take the Memorial Inscription from the headstone.

Make your way to the left side of the street to find some Nemacysts in the sky firing mortars at you. Quickly take some cover and begin to pick them out of the air. Watch out for the ground forces and more importantly the turret guns. Try to split up so the turret will have to rotate to shoot at you or your teammates. When it turns, shoot the Locust controlling it. There's another turret gun to the left that will unload on you. Just remain under cover and an old friend will take care of it for you. Once the area is quiet, head into the Imulsion Station and pick up the Delivery Note from the floor.

Jack will cut a path open for you. Hope over the short wall and make your way out and around to the left, towards the tunnel. Enter the large tunnel to trigger a checkpoint. Dizzy will back his rig down the tunnel behind you and use his lights to illuminate the tunnel for you. Head deeper into the tunnel only to find more Tickers spewing out of the holes in the walls. Take out all the Tickers and push forward. You'll soon need to take a small set of stairs up on the left. Before you do however, enter the small room just before the stairs to pick up the COG Tag CSID: 59 550 6-GK8C6-9A.

Head up the stairs and through the corridor of a room and back out into the tunnel. Dizzy will catch up with some light as you press on taking out Tickers for him. As you approach the end of the tunnel you'll be attacked by a Reaver. Charge under the creature and shoot directly up at its under belly to down it faster. Exit the tunnel and make your way back out into the open street to find it being bombed by mortar fire. You'll now have a choice of take the Hotel or Rooftop path.

Hotel

Rooftop

Make your way up the stairs and around to the left. Take out the Locusts at the opposite end of the roof and then climb up the ladder to the back. On top this roof, kill the Locust using the mortar and then take the Mortar for yourself. You'll need to use the Mortar to destroy the barricade for the other characters in the hotel. Pull and hold the aim trigger to set the weapon down and aim it. The idea here is to then pull and hold the trigger and the longer you hold it, the notches will rise which equal the distance the mortar will fire. The longer you hold it, the farther it will fire. Shoot mortars across the street until you destroy the door and the other characters can proceed. Drop back down the ladder and approach the door on the right to have Jack open it for you. Proceed through the building and out onto the next roof. Take out the remaining Locusts here to clear all the mortar fire for Dizzy. As Dizzy approaches, a Brumak will storm out of the tunnel. Pick up another Mortar from a downed Locusts and hit the Brumak with it until it goes down.
Digging In

You'll now be back on the Derrick, Betty. You'll need to defend her from the forces in the cemetery ahead of you. Pick up the Mortar and use it to thin out the ranks of the Locusts. Watch out for the Boomers that appear to the back right. Keep unloading mortar rounds into the cemetery. Eventually two Reavers will touchdown. Unload what you have left on them from the Mortar. Finish off the Reavers to complete the first act of the game.
Denizens

Scattered

You'll now find yourself deep within the Locust Hollow. Dom and Marcus will split up, you basically have the option of following whatever path you want. Pick a path and follow it. As you traverse through the cavern, Anya will speak to you via the radio and other COGs will touchdown with Grindlifts in the distance. Keep moving and you'll eventually get a distress call from Carmine who's under attack. Press on until you find a patch of vines that you can cut through with your chainsaw.

This will lead you to a large cave where Carmine is fighting off some Locusts. Grab some cover and join the fight. Take out the enemy soldiers and head up the ramp to find a knocked over Grindlift. Jack will go to work on fixing it and you'll be attacked by two hordes of Locusts. There's a Emergence Hole to the back left and one to the right. Close them up with a grenade each and then work on picking off the Locusts.

Once you've defeated all the attacking Locusts, Jack will have finished working on the Grindlift. Walk up to it and activate it via the button on the long side of the lift. It will then burrow through the wall and create a tunnel for you. Make your way through the tunnel and you'll come out on another ledge where you'll get a distress call from Omega Squad. You can either hang out up here and pick off the enemy Locust from above, or follow the path down and around and help Omega Squad deal with them up close and personal. Either way, thin out the Locust ranks only to be attacked by more Drones then some Tickers. Eventually Boomers will appear. Concentrate your fire on them until they have been killed.

Head up the ramp and tunnel where the waves of Locusts were pouring out of. It gets pretty dark fast. Jack will help with his light but simply follow the path past the glowing red plants. You'll be attacked by some Wretches. Blast your way through them and proceed down the dark path. At the end, you'll need to cut your way through some vines with your chainsaw.
Indigenous Creatures

After cutting your way through the vines, you'll be introduced to a Rockworm. This creature cannot be hurt by bullets or pretty much anything. Think of it as moving cover. Rockworms love to eat the glowing red plants so you can use these to lure them along and provide cover where there isn't. Shoot the red glowing fruit at the far end of the cavern to see test out this idea.

Now make your way to the back left of the Rockworm to find a narrow path looping around to the left. Follow this around and you should see a Grindlift off to the left of the wall you're approaching. As soon as you're back on "land" turn left and cut through the vines to find a small cave with that Grindlift, some dead bodys, ammo and the Gear's Journal. Pop back out of here and you'll encounter another Rockworm. Shoot the glowing fruit to make it move and follow the cavern to the end where the path forks.

Both ways brings you to the same area, just via different means. Left goes high while right goes low. You'll split up and need to take out a small enemy encampment where the paths rejoin. Watch out for the enemy turret gun, try to kill the operator when it is firing at your teammates. Defeat the creatures and rejoin with the others and stock up on ammo. Climb the ladder and head to the right. Take out the Tickers that appear and follow the tunnel around. You'll come to another long open area where you'll encounter a Rockworm. Use it for cover and quickly toss a grenade into the Emergence Hole to close it up. Kill the remaining Lucust Drones and proceed up the tunnel.

Follow the caverns around and you'll come to a huge open area. Pick up the Sniper Rifles by the Grindlift and take some cover. There's a Drone on a turret gun in the distance. Pop his head off with your new gun then begin to pick up the other snipers. When the Rockworm appears, use it as cover to get in closer. Finish off the snipers and proceed to the fork. Again, both paths will lead you to the same Locust encampment at the top. Take some cover and try to take out the Drone on the turret gun first. Take out the rest then make a break for the turret gun as a Reaver swoops in. Unload on the beast until it has been killed. Run around and pick up some ammo. You'll also find the Kantus Scroll by one of the carts. Get ready as you approach the doors you'll be rushed by Tickers and then a pair of Boomers. Take them out then proceed through the massive doors.

Follow the ledge down to provide backup for Alpha Squad. Take out the Drones in the lookout and then man the Mortar or turret gun and let loose on the Drones down below. Clear a path for Alpha Squad. Grab some ammo and head further down the path to trigger the next chapter.
Disturbing Revelations

Follow the tunnels down and into some shallow water. Keep moving forward and you'll find a Longshot lying at the base of a tall staircase. If you don't have one, be sure to pick it up as it'll come in handy for the upcoming battle. Head up the stairs and you'll be introduce to a Kantus. Quickly use the sniper rifle to pick off the Kantus strafing back and forth in the balcony, head shots work on him. When he's down, the center doors will open and another Kantus and Wretches will storm out. Hopefully you're teammates can fend off the Wretches while you pick off the Kantus.

When the coast is clear, make your way through the giant door and pick up the Locust Emblem from the ground on the right. Continue down the tunnel. Follow it around and eventually you will come a fork in the path where you'll need to make a choice.

Left Path

Pick up the Longshot and the ammo next to it then make your way up the hill. You'll come to a balcony where you can see two glowing fruits, one on the right and one straight to the back. Shoot both down to move the Rockworm below to provide your teammates cover. Now get ready to for several waves of Wretches. Try backing out of the balcony the way you can in to funnel the creature through the doorway. When it's clear again, pull the level to the back of the balcony to open the door.

Right Path

This area is covered by two turrets. In order to get past it, you must take cover behind a Rockworm. Crawl behind it and your teammates will guide it through the room. Once the worm has gotten outside the turrets' line of fire, you can stand up and kill the Locusts manning the turrets. Pull the lever to get to the next area.

Step through the doorway and quickly run for the sandbags up ahead. Take cover and basically sit and draw fire from the turret gun until your teammates can flank it and kill the operator. Take the narrow bridge around to the left and take cover behind some more sandbags. Use the Longshot to pick off the enemies in the distance, try to kill the Kantus as soon as possible. Your other squad members should be able to flank the turret gun. When the doors open at the end, focus on taking down the Boomer first. As soon as everything is dead the chapter will end.
Sinking Feeling

Make your way down into the fallen city of Ilima. As you approach the base a fire fight will break out. Take some cover and focus your shots on the Bloodmounts first. These like to charge you and tear you up. Either shoot the Drone off the creature's back or shoot the creature itself in the face to slow them down. Carefully move yourself up to the other pieces of cover. To the far right, you'll find a tip over car, some ammo and a ledge that over looks a pair of snipers. Take them out and pick up the Ilima City Help-Wanted Ad by the upside down car.

Continue into the city and as you round a corner you'll be attacked by another Reaver. Again, run directly under the creature and unload into its underbelly until it goes down. Continue down the pathway and pick up the ammo along the way. You'll come to a long railing when a Corpser pops out of the wall in the distance. Take cover behind the banister as a ramp is lowered and a horde of Drones run down it. Try to pick them off as they run down, use the Longshot if you have one. Eventually another Reaver will appear. You'll probably need to keep your distance for this encounter. Focus your bullets on the creature then turn your attention back to the Drones across the way.

Once the building across the gap collapses, follow the pathway down and around into the house to find the chopper. You'll then be ambushed. Quickly take some cover, either in the front doorway or along the broken wall to the back. The dressers and desks in the middle do not suffice for cover here. Hold your position until you are rescued by an old friend.

After the short scene, go around the wall to the left to find a dead body and the COG Tag CSID:085177-MJ3V5-PB on the ground next to it. Leave the house to find an hillside cemetery. You'll want to Roadie Run straight up the hill as a Reaver swoops in and lands. Quickly get under the monster and let it have it. Once the creature goes down, grab some cover behind a gravestone near the top and take out the Drones rushing across the bridge. Watch out for the Kantus on the other side of the bridge. Pick it off and then cross the bridge and pick up all the ammo and grenades behind the barriers. Continue down the tunnel to trigger the next chapter.
Captivity

Follow the massive tunnel and then head into the smaller one to the left. Go up the hill to find a bunch of strange cell-like things. Continue through the tunnel until you hear a familiar voice. Once Baird has rejoined the group, follow the path down and around. At the bottom of the hill, break right to find the Stranded's Journal: Jennifer on the ground by a brown crate.

Keep moving down the tunnel until you arrive at the base of a hill that the giant barge docks at. Take some cover and focus on take out the Boomer first, then worry about the remaining Drone. Clear the area then board the giant creature barge. Quickly take some cover as a Grinder appears and begins to unload on your squad. Return fire and aim for its head to put the Grinder down.

Step onto the elevator and activate the switch to enter the holding cell area of the barge. Hit the switch on the center pillar to open the cell doors. Head up to the top and activate the switch on the back side of the metal thing sticking out of the floor. You're barge will begin to move. Hop onto the turret gun to the back and shoot at the Reavers that fly around. Eventually your barge will hit another and you'll need to take out some Drones trying to board yours. Kill them then explore their barge. Head down into the holding cell area and hit the switch here to trigger another scene.

After the scene, quickly take some cover and shoot it out with the Drones at the top of the ramp. Watch out for the one with the Mulcher. Wipe them out and then head up the ramp and down the tunnel. You'll encounter some more Bloodmounts Defeat them and follow the cavern down and around to the right. Follow the tunnel and take a left at the end. As you round the next corner you'll encounter a Kantus in the distance with some Tickers. Pick the Kantus off and proceed to the ruins of the fallen city.

Here you'll need to fight your way through the flaming ruins of the city. Remember to try and take out any Kantus first. You'll be attacked by another Reaver halfway through the city. As always, rush under it and take it out. Continue through the city to find a tall building that looks like a suitable extraction point. Make your way around to the left side of the building and climb your way up to the roof via the flaming set of stairs. Get into the small busted up room on the "rooftop" and collect some ammo. Take some cover and begin to defend your spot as Drones and a Kantus flood onto the roof. You'll need to stay alive long enough for the chopper to arrive.
Intestinal Fortitude

When you start this chapter, pick up the Car Gold Magazine to the left of your starting position. Make your way down through the innards of the giant worm. You'll eventually come to a bunch of digestive teeth. Roadie Run under them one at a time until you come to a set of teeth that isn't able to slam all the way down. You'll need to Roadie Run through this narrow passage, avoiding several teeth along the way. Keep moving and you'll come to another set of teeth. Run through each one at a time.

As you make your way over the top of a "hill", you'll be attacked by little creatures from the bottom. Kill them and make your way down through the shallow pool of water to trigger a cutscene. After the scene with Carmine, you'll be pursued by a giant ball of junk. At the very start of this chase, hug the left wall as you move forward and you'll find the COG Tag CSID: 838186-22AO3-SF just before you turn the corner. It's sort of hard to see and you don't have much time which makes this one difficult to grab.

Now Roadie Run your way through the tunnels to stay ahead of the giant ball of junk. The main thing to do is to stay out of the tall "grass" with the glowing tips, this stuff will kill you. You'll soon come to a giant wall where you'll need to shoot sphincter-like center to make it open up for you. More of those little creatures will begin to attack you now. Don't spend too much time killing them, keep moving forward. Around to the right you'll come to another wall but this one you can cut through with your chainsaw. Run through the open area until you see a "Teetering Car" high above you. Shoot the car down and it will create a platform for you to use to cross over that deadly "grass." Chainsaw your way through the last wall and you'll have escaped the giant ball of junk.

Take the high road to the left and shoot the glowing tips of the acid spitting jets. As soon as they stop spitting acid, Road Run past them. Repeat this until you have made it past all the jets. Next you'll enter an area with small narrow tunnels that is fill with poisonous gas. Avoid heading down any alcoves that you see black for a background. Basically straight for a bit, then you'll need to take a left and weave around some columns towards the lighter area in the background. Keep running forward here until you come to a wall you can chainsaw your way through.

Proceed up the tunnel and back down the other side. You'll eventually come to what seems to be a heart. Chainsaw the two arteries then quickly leave through a passage way that opens up. Follow this up and kill the little critters that crawl out and after you. Head down the other side and cut your way through the thin wall. Make your way up the ramp to the left and cut through the three arteries of this second heart. When you do, another passage will open for you to escape through. Follow this tunnel up and around to the right where you'll need to cut through another wall. Here you'll find the final heart with four arteries to cut. Once you cut the first one, you'll need to hurry and cut the remaining three as the chamber will flood with blood. Ignore the critters and just focus on cutting the four arteries to complete the act.

Dirty Little Secret

Make your way around the outside of the building in the rain. As you loop around to the right you'll eventually find the entrance to the facility. Kick in the door then head down the tunnel on the right to find a well secured door. Make your way through the darkened factory until you come to a small room with the power switch. Activate the buildings power then head back the way you came until you find a closed door. On the opposite wall you'll find another door and switch next to it. Hit the switch and go through this new door. You'll encounter a horde of Wretches in here. Blast your way through them all and then rotate the valve to open the large garage door.

Outside you'll briefly talk to Cole and Baird. Now Marucs and Dom need to carry Baird's bomb back to the security door. You'll be forced to use only pistols as the bomb is heavy. Fend off Wretches as your navigate back into the building. Basically just follow Jack as he opens doors for you. Approach the door at the end of the hallway to trigger a small scene.
Origins

Head through the door you just blew open and up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, go into the small office on the right to find the Interoffice Memo. Explore the control room like area ahead and gather up the ammo by the wide windows. Jack will open the door to the right eventually. Follow the corridors around and head down the stairs. Kick open the door at the bottom of the stairs to find security controls around to the left. You'll be looking into a room full of Wretches. Activate the security to kill them and then deactivate it.

Now head down the hallway and enter this room where you just killed all the Wretches. Follow it around and into another hallway. Take a right and then go into the right room on the right. In here, kick open another door on the right to find a small room and the Memo: Dr. Doug Sato on the ground. Head back out and down the hallway. You'll come to some cover in the middle of the corridor. Quickly get into cover as a security turret pops up. Roadie Run from one piece of cover to the next and then dive into the room on the right and turn off the security.

In the next room you'll be attacked by some more Wretches. After you defeated all the little monsters, use the cover in the room to avoid being hit by the security turrets. Head down the next hallway and you'll find three security turrets around the corner. You'll need to dive out and then quickly kick open the door to the showers. Make your way through the showers then, when the security lights are heading the opposite way, pop out into the hallway and shut them down. Proceed into the next room and kick open the double doors.

Make your way out into the small courtyard killing the Wretches on your way. Turn right and head up the stairs only be attacked by more Wretches busting out of the door. Go through this door and back inside. Dive into the kitchen to avoid the security turret. Roadie Run past the two bots in here and then take out the wave of Wretches. Leave the kitchen via the other door and turn off the security for your squadmate.

Follow the corridors around and you'll come to a room with two security turrets on the ceiling. The deactivation switch is to the right. Hit the switch then check out the room next to the switch to pick up the New Hope Medical File: Ruth from the floor. Continue on and sprint through the second set of turrets and then head down the stairs. Proceed around the hallways and kill the Wrethes that burst through the door. Roadie Run down the corridor lined with turret lights. Continue along the hallway and Jack will open a set of bars for you. Proceed further on and then take a left and head down the stairs.

You'll come to what is only a minor fork in the path. One character will have to turn off each set of security turrets while the other avoids them. It's important to know not to just Roadie Run as laser bait here. That will only get you killed. When each set of lights are turned off, simply jog through it and stand right in front of the next set. Take each set one at a time and then you both will need to hit the switch at the end to open the massive vault-like doors. Head around to the left and you'll find a doorway that leads up some stairs. At the top you'll hear a bit of dialogue and then pull the lever in the middle of the room.
Rude Awakening

Follow the stairs down to the large room full of glass tubes. Make your way through this area and you'll be introduced to the Sire. Hopefully you have your Lancer still as these creatures can be easily defeated by chainsawing them all. Don't bother shooting them, they take a lot of bullets to be put down for good. Keep moving forward and hacking your way through the Sires. You'll eventually come to gated door with two valve controls. Keep killing the mutated creatures until it quiets down and then both characters will need to rotate the valves at the same time.

You'll now find yourself in the central computer room for the facility. Find and pull the lever to shut down the creepy computer that's been taunting you since you arrived. Head through the door that opens. From here, you'll need to fight your way through several fire fights in these narrow corridors. Take out the Torchers first. Try to aim for the gas tanks strapped to their backs. Hitting these will make them explode. Battle your way through the Locust hordes and you'll eventually come to a large lobby area with a high ceiling. Take some cover behind the desks and lure the group of enemies into the middle of the room. Be careful as they have a Grinder with them. Eventually Razorhail will break through the glass ceiling and kill all the creatures in the middle of the room. This stuff is deadly so don't hang around in it. Kick the doors open on the opposite side of the room and step outside.

Outside, you'll find yourself under the entrance awning. Instead of going left like Dom suggests, first sprint to the building to the right and pick up the Doctor's Journal: Dr. Stephanie Zimmer. Now head over to the left and get into the traincar. Quickly hit the "Brake Release" and then take some cover. The train will then roll to the right. You can simply hang there and enjoy the ride or you can return fire on the Drones unloading on the car. When the train stops, leave through the back down and follow the covered pathway around to an old busted up garage. Take out the sniper Drones in here then use the valves to open the garage doors to provide cover from the rain. Make your way to the far right side of the garage.

Eventually you'll come to a second traincar. Instead of hoping right into it though, while facing it turn directly around and Roadie Run into the shed to the back. Pick up the ammo and the Captivity Marks from off the inside wall. Get into the traincar and hit the "Brake Release" and ride the train to the right. Watch out of the Boomers and the Grinders along the way. When the train comes to a stop, exit and use the ladder in front of the train on the tracks to climb up to a mostly covered walkway. Roadie Run through any Razorhail and keep moving forward.

head down the ramp and take cover under the small shelter as Drones pour out of a hole in the ground. Wipe them out then Roadie Run to their shelter. Take out another group of Drones across the way and then sprint to their covered spot. You'll now be introduced to some Mauler Boomers. They will be using their Bomb Shields to protect them from the Razorhail, take this opportunity to unload into their unprotected face.

Once you've downed each Mauler, pick up one of their Bomb Shields and the Razorhail will finally stop. Move forward and take out another swarm of Drones from a hole. Once clear, make your way around to the left of the parking lot to regroup with Baird and Cole. Baird needs sometime to fix the Centaur and you'll need to fend off two Reavers. Get under them and blast their underbellies until they go down.
Ascension

You will now be in control of the Centaur. Your goal is to simply drive up the side of the mountain and gain entrance to the Locust lair at the top. Of course there'll be a ton of Locusts standing in your way. Early on the path will split, both lead to the same spot and both feature about the same amount of enemies. Proceed up either path and then take out the Locust forces you encounter. Try to target any Reavers or mounted turret guns first, then work on thinning out the ground troops.

Follow the logging roads and blow through any barriers you come across. Keep moving and you'll eventually find yourself at a ice covered lake. Carefully navigate the icy surface and avoid the holes the mortars put into the ice. The holes are predetermined so if you're having troubles, simply memorize their placement and avoid them. You'll have to navigate across a second lake but this time there's Reavers. Try to ignore them until you know you are near or approaching the opposite side of the lake, then take them out.

Continue up the mountain to the bridge only to find that it's been destroy. Plow through the trees to the right of the bridge to find a ramp. Straighten yourself out with it then hit the boost to fly off the ledge and onto the cliff below. Continue up the mountain, blasting your way through some more Reavers. You'll soon come to the entrance to the underground lair. Try to pick off the ground troops from afar then move in close. You'll need to quickly take out some turret guns hiding inside the stone structures. Unload on the tower to knock it over and open a passage into the massive tunnel.

Enter the tunnel and someone will turn on the lights after some dialogue. A Corpser will appear then quickly disappear but provide you with a new tunnel to use. Follow the narrowing path downwards. Try to stay in the middle as parts of the ceiling will begin to fall. Continue down the path and jump the Centaur off the short ledge at the end. The Brumak on the higher ledge won't hurt you, only scare you. Keep moving and you'll be forced to drop off another ledge. The power goes out then. Be ready as the power comes back on, you'll need to shoot three Corpsers. Only shoot them when their legs are open. Once all three are dead, proceed through the tunnel. You'll soon enter a giant cavern where you'll be attacked by multiple Brumaks. Keep moving around and shooting them until all three have been killed.
Displacement

Follow the narrow bridge down to the the rocky ledge. Keep moving forward until you meet your first Theron of the game. These guys will be totting Torque Bows. You can find your own Torque Bow in the small alcove to the right. Take out the two Theron guards and continue forward. You'll enter a large open area with a bunch of fallen pillars and rocks to use for cover. As you enter this area you'll be attacked be a few Drones, Therons and a gunboat. Try to take cover along to right to protect yourself from the boats fire. Watch out for flying Torque Bow arrows. Push forward and head up the stairs to the right. before rushing into the next fire fight down below, go up the taller stairs off to the right and collect the Stranded's Journal: Stu.

Next you'll face more Drones and even a Torcher. Be sure to take him out first. You'll also need to disable the gunboat here which will then crash and act as a bridge for you to use. In the next fire fight, take out the Kantus first then worry about the Drones. Press on and watch out for the Bloodmount. Fight your way around to the dock. Take cover and slowly make your way closer to the end. If you have the Torque Bow, use it to pick off the Grinder at the end of the dock. Push forward until you reach the boat at the end.

After the short scene, you'll be on a small piece of the dock floating in the water. There is multiple pieces of cover on the dock to hide behind but you'll need to keep moving as the dock rotates to reveal you to your enemies. Pick off the Drones on the attacking gunboat then get ready for another. Again, if your cover is exposed move to another one. Fend off the attacking gunboat and you will have a few moments of silence as you float down a tunnel. You'll then be attacked by another gunboat that'll ram into your dock. Quickly kill the Torcher then jump onto the gunboat before you crash into a rock.

You'll now need to take cover along the right side of the boat and fend off another boat full of Drones. After a bit of time you'll be attacked from the left. After the second boat, a third will attack from the left again. Quickly take out the Grinder on this boat then worry about the others. Another boat will appear in front of you. Hop of the turret gun and unload at the Drones on it until they are too far to the side. Fend them off but focus on surviving until they back off and leave you to float peacefully through a eery tunnel.
Brackish Waters

Here you'll be facing off against the giant creature that's been swimming around under you in these dark waters. If you don't have a Lance or Frag Grenades, be sure to pick them up from the middle of the boat. These are the needed weapons for the battle. Take some cover at the back of the boat. The creature's massive tentacles will pop out of the water and grab the boat in attempt to pull it under water. You need to saw these in half before it can do so. Keep returning to the back of the boat as the tentacles won't crush you back there. Keep sawing the tentacles until the creature's head pops out of the water and attacks the front of the boat.

Simply shoot the creature in one of its eyes to make it recoil the first time. The second time it pops up, shoot it in the eye again then Roadie Run into it's open mouth. Make sure to get far enough in so you don't get crushed by its closing teeth. Once inside the mouth, shoot the blue tentacles as the start wiggling. After you've made a few of them recoil, the sphincter-like mouth will open at the back of the throat. You need to quickly toss a Frag Grenade into this circular mouth. Flames will shoot out of it when you've nailed it. The large outer mouth will then reopen and recoil. Quickly return to the back of the boat and get ready to repeat this process. Each time you get into the mouth, you'll need to shoot more blue tentacles to make the inner mouth open. You'll need to toss a total of 3 grenades into the creature's inner mouth to defeat the beast. Do this to conclude this chapter.

Priorities

Step off the boat and follow the dock to solid land. Make your way along the path. Keep going well past the torches and down the narrow tunnel to trigger a cutscene. After the scene, follow Dom up and around and then activate the switch on the back wall to ride an elevator up. Proceed along the balcony then take the next elevator down. You'll now find you're passage blocked by some running water. Rotate the valve on the left to lower the water. Hop over the small wall and quickly take aim on the Drone running for valve on the opposite side. Kill him first or else he'll open the floodgates back up and you'll drown.

Kill the rest of the Drones then proceed up the staircase on their side. There's a Longshot rifle at the end of the hallway. If you have a Torque Bow, ignore the sniper rifle for just a moment. Go down the stairs to the open cavern and you'll be rushed by a Mauler Boomer from the back right and a horde of Wretches from the left. If you have it, use the Torque Bow on the Mauler (two shots) then take out the Wretches. Once it's clear, go grab the Longshot as you'll be doing some distance fighting next.

As you start to cross the bridge, a big spot light will shine down and somewhat blind you. Take some cover and focus first on picking off the Drone on the turret gun. You can shoot the light if it's bothering you. After the turret gun, you should look for the Theron with the Torque Bow. Take him out then worry about clearing out the rest of the Drones. When the fire fight is over, you'll find a small raised platform to the left with three terminals. Before activated the story driven terminal, be sure to activate the one where a magnifying glass appears when you stand in front of it first. This will get you the Locust Terminal collectible. Once you have that, hit the other one to trigger a cutscene.
Answers

After the scene, you'll need to make your way through the cave inspecting the computer terminals along the way. It's a pretty straight forward path and you'll be told when you near one. By the second terminal, look around by one of the Locust vehicles to pick up Prisoner's Journal: Jonathan Harper from the ground. Keep your distance from the Locusts ahead of you. Proceed to follow behind them and check the terminals as you pass. Eventually, as you approach the last terminal this patrol will spot you. Wipe them out and activate this final terminal to trigger a scene.

You will now need to fend off waves of Locust. Hang back by the curved barrier and pick up the approaching Bloodmount from the right. He'll be followed by several Wretches but they can be ignored until they are closer and the Bloodmount has been taken care of. A similar wave will now attack from the left. Defeat it and then turn back to right. Try to pick off the Mulcher first then go after the Drones. A last wave will come from the left and feature a pair of Torque Bow wielding Therons and some Drones. Kill the Theron first and then wipe up the rest of the enemies to clear this chapter.
Hornets’ Nest

Go around to the right and down the stairs. Take another right at the bottom and follow the narrow passage back and to the left. Just as you turn the back corner, you'll find the Locust Jailer Document on the ground. Continue to follow the corridors around and out into a gigantic open cavern where you can see the palace in the background. Head down the stairs and take some cover as a battle begins. Push forward as you kill Drones. There'll be some Theron guards in the tower to the back with Torque Bows. Fight and kill your way up into this tower and pull the lever in the corner to open a door below.

Use the balcony to pick off the two Torchers that charge in and then take out the remaining Drones. Head through the door you opened with the switch and you'll discover a wide open area with one piece of cover and a large lever sticking out of the ground. Pull this lever to make more cover pop up. Dig in and watch out for a Drone to the upper right who'll try and lower your cover with another lever. Pick off the enemies from a distance. When the Reaver shows up, focus all your fire on it. Push forward as their troops thin out and eventually the pair of giant doors will open and two Grinders will walk out. Toss some grenades to kill the beasts.

Go through the massive doors and Roadie Run down the corridor, to the right then quickly up the short stairs to the left, then turn right again and Roadie Run straight back into the room before the door closes it shut. In this room you'll find a turret gun and the Human Finger Necklace collectible on the floor. Pull the switch by the turret gun then quickly hop onto it. Unload onto the Grinders first then pick off the Drones in the background. Push forward and clear the area.

Head down the passageway and before entering the first doorway on the left, go into the small room at the end of the hallway and pick up the ammo and Grenades. Go back to the first door and shoot the Toucher in the gas tank before entering which will blow up the bridge. Charge in and go around to the right. Unload into the approaching Mauler. Know that there's a second Mauler coming after you from the balcony in the background. Kill him and the rest of the Drones and proceed up the stairs and out into another open area.

Pull the lever to raise some barriers for cover. Take out the Drones at the opposite end and then head in that direction. A cutscene will ensue. After the scene, you'll be in for a pretty good size fire fight. Always pull the first to create cover for yourself. Watch out for Tickers and Drones operating Mortars as the fight continues. Follow the walls that lower to proceed through the area. If you do pick up a Mortar, be careful not to keep too long. You're an easy target for enemy Mortars. Keep your head down and keep pushing forward. When the coast is clear, head up the stairs to the right to regroup with Baird and Cole. Follow the path around and pull the lever at the end to end the chapter.
No Turning Back

You'll start on a large gondola-like platform. Take cover along the left wall and shoot down the Reavers before they run into your ride. Soon another gondola will approach yours with a few Drones on it. Kill them and hop onto their ride before your original one falls. Shoot down some more Reavers as you ride this gondola to the top. Once you land, follow the corridors and then spiral staircase upwards. At the top you'll see the Locust Calendar on the left for you to collect.

Head down the next set of stairs and quickly pull the lever to the right to provide some additional cover. Watch out for rushing Tickers. Try to take out the Kantus first then work your way through the Drones. Proceed down the small set of stairs to the back right and pull the lever on the wall.

Stairwell

Make your way down the stairs and engage the enemies. The other squadmates will provide support so don't need to worry about taking out everyone yourself. Keep moving downwards and you'll eventually regroup with the others.

Lift with Troika Turret

Hop onto the turret gun and blast the enemy troops as your lift lowers to provide support for the guys on the stairs. Try to shoot the yellow glowing boxes when Locusts surround them as they will explode. After you clear the three levels of enemies, get off the lift and head all the way down to the back and to the left and pull the lever to rejoin the others.

Head down the set of stairs that leads to a yellow archway. You'll find yourself on a balcony looking down on a squad of Locust. There's a good number of Drones, a couple Boomers and even a Kantus. Use everything in your arsenal to clear the room. Pull the level down the stairs to the right then cross the bridge back up to the right. In this small narrow room, you'll find the Locust Defense Plans on the ground near some ammo. Pull the lever in here which will grant you access to the bottom floor of this room.

Go down the ramp you just revealed to find a dead Lambert in the middle of the room. After the scene, quickly grab some cover as a pair of Grinders appear. Take them out with grenades then turn around to pick off another Drone. Head through the door the Drone just came through. Follow the passage and the ledge down around to the left. A lift will rise with a horde of Locust on it. Try to take out the Kantus and the Maulers first then kill the remaining Drones. Step onto the lift to end the chapter.
The Best-Laid Plans

Ride the giant elevator down until it stops. Head up the staircase and take cover in the center of the circular barriers. Drones will attack you from the windows to the left first. If they lower your cover, simply step on the switch in the middle to bring them back up. Three more Drones will appear in the windows to the right. Once you've taken them all out, head part way back down the stairs and then go around to the right. Run around the parameter of the structure. You'll encounter some enemy forces along the way. Take them out and step on the floor switch to open the Lift for you. Before you hop onto it though, grab the Locust Invasion Map. It's in front of the second door to the right of the Lift. Stand on the Lift when you are ready and pull the level to lower it. At the bottom, make your way through the cells of Bloodmounts and pull the lever at the end to reveal two paths.

Left Path

Head up the stairs to find some window lookouts along the right side. Use these to aid your squadmates below and by providing some covering fire. Use grenades to take out the Maulers then take cover and shoot the Grinder on the opposite side. Proceed down the corridor and down the stairs. Swing around to the right at the bottom and step onto the switch to open the gates for your teammates.

Right Path

After regrouping, head out and around to the right. There, you'll see the ramp down to the left which is where you want to go but first you should turn right and head up the stairs to run along the window balcony that was home of the Grinder. To the very back you'll find another set of stairs that leads down to a dead end. At the base of this set of stairs you'll find the Trinity of Worms Artifact lying on the ground. Pick it up then head back up and over then go down the ramp.

Halfway down the ramp you'll begin to encounter some resistance. Use the pillars on either side of the narrow path for cover and fight your way down to the bottom. There you'll enter a giant control room. Watch out for Tickers and take out the Kantus first. Once you clear this area, the chapter will conclude.
Royal Inquisition

Stock up on ammo in the corner of the room and then go through the doorway that opens there to enter a massive hall. As soon as you step through the doorway, turn left and run in between the wall and the pillars. Just past the last pillar you'll find the Locust Tablets lying on the ground. Pull the lever in the middle of the balcony to open two different paths. Either path is basically the same, you'll need to fight your way forward through Drones, Tickers, Maulers and even a Theron or two near the end. Be patient, use cover and act smart to make all the way to the Locust Lift at the other end of the hall where both teams will regroup. Step onto the lift and hit the lever.

The lift will stop at the bottom floor. Move forward through the extremely tall corridor only to have a part of the floor retract and enemies pop up on the other side. Take some cover behind the retractable walls and kill all the opposing baddies. Make your way down the hall repeating this tactic. Every time you beat a wave, the floor will come out to let you proceed. As you walk across the final section of the room near the tall lights in the middle, the floor will drop and you'll need to fight off Locusts from all sides of you. Work your way around killing them all then rotate the valve to raise the platform. Go through the tall narrow door to trigger a cutscene.

You will now deal with Skorge. At the very start of the fight you will have a chainsaw battle with him. Tap the chainsaw button to overpower and cut him. You can only really damage Skorge in these little chainsaw showdowns, but you'll have to survive long enough to engage him again. Wait for him to land on either side of the great hall then take the appropriate cover. Don't waste bullets on Skorge as he strafes and unloads bullets and ink grenades, just avoid them. Focus on taking out the Tickers. When Skorge disappears, listen for his chainsaw. He'll be cutting parts of the ceiling down so stay on the move and roll a lot. Next Skorge will drop back down and proceed to cut the base of a pillar which will always topple towards you. Dive out of the way at the last second then be ready for another chainsaw dual with him. This routine will repeat after you win the chainsaw battle. Complete it 3 times to defeat Skorge for the moment.

Once you've defeated Skorge follow the passageway to the left of the throne to find Baird and Cole standing on a huge empty balcony. After the exchange in dialogue, Roadie Run the entire length of the bridge to survive.
Aftermath

Escape

You will now be aboard and riding a Reaver. You won't have control of it's direction and movement really, but you can sway it from side to side. Your main objective here is man the guns of the Reaver. You'll have two at your disposal. When you're facing forward, you'll fire rockets and when you're looking behind you, you'll be using a turret gun which needs to be cooled when overheated. Stay facing forward for the majority of this first section as you fly through a Locust stronghold. Focus on taking out the anti-aircraft turret and the Brumaks. You'll eventually see some Grindlifts landing and some fellow COGs in need of backup. Help clear the area of ground forces and then the Brumak which appears on the left. This will trigger a cutscene which will begin the next section of the chapter.

Skorge and his giant Reaver is now chasing you through the dark tunnels. You will only need to face behind you for this part. Don't fire blinding and risk overheating your gun. Wait for the beast to fly up behind you and start firing its own gun. Focus your return fire directly at this gun until it retracts and the creature recoils. Cool your weapon down and wait. Skorge and the super Reaver will return and when it does you should unload into the monster's mouth until it falls back again. Now you'll need to dodge some rockets until it repeats this routine. Survive this for a couple rounds and you'll make it to the surface.

Here you'll be on the run from a bunch of normal Reavers. There will generally only come at you two at a time. Stay on the machine gun for the majority of this pursuit. Keep an eye on the taking damage indicator to know when you're getting hit from the front. Wait for the Reavers to get in close and when they are flying in a straighter line to take them out. Eventually, Skorge and his mega Reaver will return. It will grab you from behind with one of its arms. Aim low at the arm itself and shoot it off. Dodge some rockets then switch to the front facing rocket launcher as the beast flies in front of you. Once in front of you, wait for it to charge directly at you and shoot it with a rocket in the face. It will then swoop back behind you and repeat. In the end you'll need to shoot all four limbs off then hit it in the face for a forth and final time to complete this chapter.
Desperate Stand

Grab some cover as a Reaver drops into the courtyard. It should go down relatively easily and then follow your fellow COGs to back left archway to step out to the outer perimeter. Take an immediate right and go all the way to the last balcony to find some ammo and the COG Recon Report. Go back to the left and help your other squadmates take out the Locusts on the platform. Eventually a Reaver will appear but shortly after a COG helicopter will swoop in and blast it away. Once the platform is clear, follow your team to the right and you'll discover another platform under attack. Take out all the enemy troops then continue to the balcony to the right.

Pick up a Mulcher to the left and then take cover by the edge of the balcony. Use the Mulcher to mow through Drones in the street and then on the Reaver that shows up. Eventually, another chopper will come in and aid you in clearing the street. Once it's been cleared, a bridge will extend for you to use to cross over the street to the other balcony. Take the stairs up to the communication tower and hop on the turret on the right (it seems a bit easier). You'll need to shoot down 6 Reavers before they blow up the comm. tower. Try to hit them at a distance when they first turn and swoop straight in at you.

Once the comm tower has been secured, follow Dom and Hoffman to the right. Hoffman will open the gate that will lead you to another balcony over looking a huge courtyard. The balcony to the far right has the COG Tag CSID: 911706-DZUHO-JN on the ground next to some ammo. Pick the Mulcher along the back wall and use it to thin the ranks of the incoming Locusts. Save the Mortar for the Brumaks. They will go down with a couple hits from the mortar pretty easily.
Free Parking

Quickly take up some cover as soon as this chapter starts. If you don't have a Longshot on you, there's one to the right by the metal barrier. This battle is a lot easier with the sniper rifle, use it to pick off enemies from a distance. They will come from the right, left, and up the middle so be mindful and don't forget to check around for charging enemies. Towards the end of the battle Torchers will run in from the left and right. Hit their gas tanks to make them explode.

Once the front area is cleared, make your way into the building around to the left. Head inside and begin picking off Locusts, watch out for the Torcher. As you get deep inside you'll find a large open room with a big staircase. There's a Kantus at the top running around. Take it out and the remaining Drones. As soon as you do a Grinder will kick open massive door. Take cover and kill the beast then head through the door it open to find yourself back outside.

You will now need to secure this courtyard, which be difficult on the harder difficulty settings. You'll probably end up wasting a lot of ammo by hanging back on the entrance balcony you came in on. Instead, Roadie Run down the stairs and to the left. Be on the lookout for Tickers. There's a Drone on a turret gun in the middle. What you want to do is get up on the raised level to the left, take cover behind the railing and blind throw a grenade into the turret nest to clear it. Once you've taken out the turret gun, yon need to focus on killing the Kantus. Once you've done that, clear out the rest of the Drones and then get ready for another wave. This wave consists of Wretches and Maulers. Take out the Wretches first then drill away at the Maulers. As you do this, make your way back to the entrance you came in from. Once the Maulers are dead, quickly plant some grenades onto the stair walls up to this balcony, one on each staircase. Two Bloodmounts will rush in and towards you. Keep backing up into the hallway and wait for them to rush up the stairs. Usually the planted grenades will kill the Bloodmount riders and weaken the creatures themselves. Now simply finish them off and the courtyard will be cleared.

Make your way through the passage way on the opposite end of the courtyard. You'll come out onto a street under attack. Take out the Grinder in the middle first then kill all the Drones. Around to the right of where the Grinder was, you'll find the Jacinto Sentinel Newspaper behind a small concrete barrier. Now go to the left and Marcus and Dom will split up

Street

Take cover behind the car and shoot the flammable tank by the storefront that is home to a bunch of Locusts. Fight your way down the street. A Reaver will swoop and land. Take some cover and return fire. Proceed further down the street until you have a clear shot of the second flammable tank. Shoot this to blow out a bottom floor of a building so you partner can get back down to the street and help you out.

Garage

Rush up the ramp and take out the Drone shoot at your squadmate from a window. Keep moving why keeping an eye on your teammate below. When the Reaver shows up, be sure to lend your friend a hand from your vantage point. Continue ahead and once your buddy blows the second tank, you'll have a ramp back down to the street.

Take cover and take out the Grinder that appears. Just past him you'll find the Hammer of Dawn. Pick it up and take some cover so you can see down the long street towards what looks like a capital building. Use the Hammer of Dawn to clear the street of Drones and a Reaver. More Drones show up after the building at the end collapses. Wipe them out to finally get a moment of rest. Go down the street and cut through the broken building on the left. When you pop out on the other street, look for a blow open alcove to find COG Tag CSID: 44526-MI2K9-2B on the ground (this is actually listed in game as part of the next chapter). Follow the street down and around to bring an end to this chapter.
Tenuous Footing

Head down to the right and you'll hop into the crane. You need to lower the crane and swing it over to the left so Dom can get onto it. Once he's on the platform, swing it over to the right and lower it directly onto the roof scattered with paper. You'll then automatically hop out of the crane. Head up the small hill and use the Hammer of Dawn to kill the Drones down below. When the coast is clear, run across the downed crane for a bridge. Use you rejoin Dom, continue to use the Hammer to clear out Locusts below. Head down and around the wreckage, watch out for the Mauler. Keep going around until you find yourself on a square rooftop. Fend off some Drones that climb up but then hold on as you take a little trip downwards which will kill any remaining enemies for you.

Quickly take some cover by the window and kill the baddies waiting for you outside. Once everything is quiet, hop through the window and pick up the Stranded's Journal: Russell behind the desk in the right corner. Head down the ramp and take out the Drones across the way. Clear the area down there and then use the chainsaw to cut through the cables. Begin to make your way across the bridge you just made to trigger a small scene.

Once you've landed, get the Longshot out if you have one and pick off the Kantus around the corner to the left. If not, do whatever it takes to kill this guy as quickly as possible before Drones climb up to join him. Kill the other that show up then climb into the window of the building. Simply find some cover and wait for the building to collapse around you. With the building now knocked over and on fire, quickly make your way to the elevator through the burning corridor. Hit the elevator button and then hop inside. Ride the elevator sideways until it stops. Get out of the slanted elevator only to find a Brumak unloading into the building. Roadie Run under its gun fire and around to the left. Keep moving up and around the beast and kill the pilot who's walking around of the platform through the window. Once the pilot has been taken out, you'll move onto the next chapter.
Closure

Here you will be piloting a Brumak yourself. The normal trigger button fires machine guns while "X" fires rockets. Mind the heat gage in the top right corner. Blast your way through the caverns and watch the Drones flee from you. Keep an eye out for Boomers, Grinders and enemy turrets. Reavers don't prove too much trouble for the Brumak. Use the melee button to smash through gates and to wrestle with the Corpser.

Eventually you will reach a giant cave fill with emulsion. Unload everything you got into the three massive columns to bring the roof down. After another scene, you'll be sitting in a chopper with the Hammer of Dawn in your hands. Aim it at the new creature and let it rip. Keep hammering away at it until the beast is killed and you've completed the game.
